Summary:
 Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 vehicles mounted on a Freightliner chassis. Due to improper installation, the air supply line of the front brakes is susceptible to kinking. |
Consequence:
Overtime, the front brake line could become kinked leading to a loss of front brake control, increasing the risk of crash. |
Remedy:
Altec will notify owners, and will repair the vehicles, free of charge. Altec has not provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Altec Industries at 1-877-462-5832. |
